This short series of “Impact Investment Musings” is designed to give a brief introduction to some of the key elements of impact investing, and to generate and share knowledge that will help drive capital towards impact.
The term “Impact investing” refers, broadly, to the practice of investing with the intent of creating environmental and social benefits alongside financial returns.
In this series we examine the category in four dimensions: the evolution of the impact investing industry; the challenges of measuring and managing “impact”; the growing interest in “blended finance”; and the specific issues of impact investing in the “frontier” markets of Asia.
